Marking its ten-year anniversary, the Children Municipal Council’s (CMC) elections kicked off in over 850 schools across Lebanon.

On the eve of the event, the President of Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, MP Bahia Hariri visited a number of public and private schools in Saida and Beirut.

MP Hariri commended the children for the high level of maturity and democratic spirit they displayed all through the CMC campaign and electoral event, emphasizing “the importance of democracy in safeguarding Lebanon’s future and hoping that the real voting constituency nation-wide would take example from the children’s democratic experience.”
